Definition:
Trademark Trial and Appeal Board -- an administrative tribunal at the USPTO. It has jurisdiction over appeals from decisions of the Trademark Office, as well as opposition proceedings and cancellation proceedings.
Copying
Definition:
To constitute an infringement of copyright, a work must be a "copy" in the sense that it is substantially similar to a copyrighted work, it must have been "copied" from the copyrighted work as opposed to being the result of coincidental, independent production.
Trademark Appeal
Definition:
An applicant who wants to contest a final refusal from an examining attorney may file an appeal to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
